What is it?
Music Buddy allows users to listen to the songs that their friends are listening to simultaneously. Users can also create group chats and share new music with others.
Overview of the Project (4 parts)
1
Problem Statement
As of today there are many music streaming services that all have different aspects and features differentiating from each other. The one thing they don't share across all platforms is being able to share music with others. If one wants to share a song/album/playlist/etc. with another, they have to listen to it on the platform that they use.

Goals
Main Project Goal
Have users be able to share their music across all music platforms.
Features to Mention:
-
Listen to the same music as others at the same time
-
Create group chats to share music
-
See who's listening to what song/artist
-
Be able to add songs that others are listening to in that exact moment
How Does it Work?
In order to sync up with friends, users must share the same music streaming platform in order to connect. In order to do so, users can either sync their accounts when signing up to the used streaming service(s) or through the profile. When synced, users can listen to friends songs by joining on in at any point.

Design Process
For this project, both low and high fidelity wireframes were created, but the main focus of this project was the visual elements of using dark mode. Let's see the transformation process from low to high fidelity mockups.

Conclusion
In the end, this app is merely a concept that was designed to express and spark ideas for myself and others. Since music is a constantly growing and popular field, there can be many different apps/products that involve this similar concept. My main goal for this design was to illustrate the ideas I have as a UX Designer.
